Get to Know Our Staff

I was born and raised in Plano, TX. I began my Montessori journey from infancy while attending my family's private Montessori schools. Growing up with my family in early child education inspired a passion for teaching young minds. I began teaching in Montessori classrooms as soon as I was old enough to work. In 2002 I moved to Austin, where I met my husband, Jeff Kelly. After becoming a mother in 2005 I began caring for children in my home. Little did I know that my small In-home daycare would quickly grow into the Prep N' Play Montessori that it is today. I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and 3 children, as well as attending theater and soccer events. I have a busy home with 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 friendly bearded dragon. I am currently Montessori certified in Early Childhood and Infant & Toddler. With my directors license I continue to ensure that all of our  students and families receive the best learning experience. My goal is to spark a love of learning in each child attending Prep N' Play. 

Originally born in Burnet, Texas but Austin has always felt like my home. My passion for teaching started at an early age when my younger siblings were born, guiding them and watching them grow has been one of the sweetest parts of my life. I took two years of child development courses in high school, volunteered at two local daycares during my senior year and through that gained my certification in early childhood education. I’ve always admired how malleable and intelligent young minds are and while in high school started my first job at a Montessori School where I learned the natural, peaceful and student-led learning experience of a Montessori environment and I fell in love. I recently obtained my Montessori certificate and am excited to apply all that I have learned with my preschool class. I met my fiancé during my senior year of high school & we now live in Jarell  with our three fur babies. I hope to continue to learn and grow with my kiddos at Prep N Play and ignite a love for learning in each of them. 

I was born and raised in India where I met my Husband. After a couple years of being married we eventually found ourselves in the Leander, Texas area. Being home with my two lovely children helped grow my love for teaching little ones. So I decided to begin my Montessori training. I have completed my courses and am officially certified. I'm so happy to be teaching. I truly appreciate little minds and look forward to helping them grow.

I'm a born and raised Austinite and have lived here my whole life. I became a teacher because of my younger brother. I enjoyed spending time with him, guiding him through his work and stepping stones of life. I quickly realized that I would love to help guide other children through life and watch them grow. I am recently Montessori certified.  Some fun facts about me: I have a pet snake named Medusa and know every Taylor Swift song. In my free time, I love to read about Greek mythology and write short stories. I have enjoyed growing as a teacher at Prep N' Play Montessori and love getting to know all of my students in the Primary class. 

I was born and raised here in Texas.  My family includes my high school sweetheart and our two sweet boys. I began working in Montessori back in October 2015. Born a Cancer I am naturally calm and nurturing. I truly enjoy working with the toddler age group and being able to watch them grow from the age of 1 to 3. I love being a part of guiding them on their way and seeing the light in their eyes shine when learning something new.  I love all things blue, sipping on smoothies, music, practicing calligraphy and astrology.

I spent half my life on the West Coast in the Pacific Northwest and the other half on the East coast in Florida. I recently made my way to the Austin area where i raise my sweet little boy. I was in child care for most of my childhood and the people who took care of me had a large impact on my life. I started working in child care myself so that I could help my students learn and grow into amazing people and hope i can leave a positive impact on their lives like my caretakers did for me. In my free time i love to read, spend time in nature, and do arts and crafts with my kid. 

I was born and raised in India where i met my lovely husband. We moved to Dallas and welcomed our two children, eventually making our way to the Austin area. Spending time with my children inspired me to become a teacher. I love spending my days watching my students learn and grow. In my free time I enjoy cooking for my family and friends and spending time with my family and our cat, Simba.

I was born and raised in Austin along side my four siblings. I have recently graduated high school and wanted to pursue child care because of my love for children. I enjoy playing basketball in my free time and i love to travel and explore whenever i get the chance.

I was born and raised in China until my family moved to Chile when i was 11. In Chile i met my husband, we ended up moving to Texas not long after. We had a beautiful baby girl who is the light of my life. I started teaching because of my love for children; it brings me so much joy to spend my days teaching and spending time with my students. In my free time i love to do arts & crafts, cook, and look after my plants.

 I was born and raised in the Bay Area in California, recently relocating to the Austin area with my husband and two daughters. I became a teacher because of the joy it brings me to watch my students grow and reach their milestones. In my free time i love to explore new restaurants, go to music shows, and overall just spend quality time with my family.  

 I was born and raised in Austin TX. I just recently graduated and have since began college classes. I want to be a teacher because I love being around kids, their energy is uplifting and being able to help them learn new things is rewarding.  Some hobbies I enjoy are arts and crafts, being outside, and cooking.
