In the toddler classes we introduce the basic Montessori materials in group and individual presentations. The toddlers are given opportunities to practice important life skills such as, pouring, scooping, zipping, sweeping and so much more. Toddlers are curious and the Montessori classroom is designed to foster and stimulate their busy minds and bodies. Language and social lessons are offered throughout the day as this is the most crucial time for language and social development.
The young toddler program, the Cubs class is used as a transition class from infant to toddler. In this class, your child will learn many essential skills to help them prepare for the older toddler class.
The older toddler program, the Chipmunks class offers a large area for developing gross motor skills: balance, strength, and coordination. Practical life and self care become a large part of child's day.
